GAOC Accountant (VBA/Power BI)

General Summary:

The Accounts Payable GAOC Accountant / Associate will work in one or more of the following sub process areas within Accounts Payable: Operations (Supplier Master, Accounting, Invoice Processing, Customer Support, Disbursement, Travel and Expense)

• Initiate BOTs as part of Robotic process automation based on Automation Anywhere to process the invoices – for US and EMEA region
• Work towards improving efficiency around BOT and handling day - day invoice exceptions in BOT
• Expected to possess in depth knowledge of automation tools such as Alteryx, VBA and Power BI, tableau, and other automation tools (VBA and Power BI skills are mandatory).
• Work with various teams (Invoice Processing, RPA etc.,) to address the issues which hinders invoice processing.

Additional attributes to be considered:

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software like Oracle and automation tools such as VBA, Power BI, Alteryx, and other automation tools (VBA and Power BI skills are mandatory).
• Accounts Payable: Experience in Accounts payable functions such as invoice processing, Invoice approvals, Vendor statement Reconciliation etc.,
• Data Management: Ability to manage large datasets and perform invoice reconciliations efficiently
• Process Improvement: Experience in implementing automated invoice approval systems to reduce processing time and improve accuracy
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices
• Organizational Skills: Managing documents and schedules effectively to meet deadlines
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating within internal teams
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing invoice exception data and should be able to perform root cause analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce / MBA
• Problem Solving and Analytical skills
• Identifies and escalates appropriate issues while providing potential recommendations
• Identifies process improvement needs and proposes solutions
• Understanding of the integration within finance modules Oracle \ SAP, Processing and Exception Handling

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
