Job Description
Position Title: Head of Supply Chain & Procurement
As we embark on nationwide expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain and Procurement to lead our supply chain management function and support our growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Champion Governance and Compliance:

- Draft effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to govern all aspects of the supply chain and procurement functions.
- Provide coaching and training to internal teams on SOPs and policies, ensuring full understanding and compliance.
- Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to monitor adherence to SOPs and policies, ensuring the deployment of company best practices.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Develop innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers, fostering collaboration and mutual benefit.
- Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements, mitigating potential disruptions and ensuring compliance.
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) Management:

- Ensure successful execution of Service Level Agreements and contracts with key vendors and suppliers.
- Optimize the organization's indirect costs through effective negotiations and contract management.
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand and supply planning, logistics, and warehousing.
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in delivery operations and warehousing.
- Optimize inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Process Optimization and Technological Integration:

- Continuously refine supply chain processes, leveraging technological solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts.
- Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Compliance:

- Manage financial planning and budgeting for supply chain and procurement activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols across the end-to-end supply chain.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Experience in the food industry (Nestle, Metro, Coca Cola, Engro etc.) or QSR sector is highly desirable (McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc.)
Essential Competencies
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Understanding of the QSR industry and market landscape
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business objectives.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or SAP.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive results, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
