We are a dynamic Site ReliabilityEngineering(SRE) team focused on improving the reliability and performance of data and analytics platforms.We'relooking for a hands-on technologist with 3+ years of experience in application delivery or IT operations, eager to apply development skills to enhance system resilience and efficiency. You will be engaged in support activities with our Databricks enterprise platform,assistingusers and troubleshooting Production issues with ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop andmaintainautomation scripts to enhance operational strategy 

  
  

• Manage performance monitoring across our assets to ensure proper measuring, reporting, andalerting onanomalies and incidents

  
  

• Collaborate with engineering and application delivery teamsin developing and testing automation of repetitive, manual efforts

  
  

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the SRE practice

  
  

• Contribute to team projects improving our operational strategy through AI integration

  
  

• Track and document repeated incidents toeliminaterecurring problems

  
  

• Support of our Databricks user base and critical ETL pipelines

  
  

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and documentation of operational procedures

  
  

• Strong problem-solving skills

  
  

• Experience with Agilemethodology

  
  

• A desire to learn and grow your experience

  
  

• Good communications skills

  
  

RequiredExperience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  
  

• 11-13years of experience as a Developer and exposed toDistributedSystems and Operational roles.

  
  

• 7+yearsSQL experience.

  
  

• Experiencein ETL technologies (Informatica/DataStage) and Oracle is a big plus

  
  

• Experience with Data warehousing concepts

  
  

• Experience with scripting and automation usingPython

  
  

• Experience withShellscripting

  
  

• Familiarity withSQL, Spark,Pysparkand working with Cloud Based data platforms likeDatabricks.

  
  

• Hands on experiences in some AWS technologies like – Cloud Watch, Step Functions, Lambda, Glue, EC2, DynamoDB, SQS, ECS/EKS, Elastic Search, Elastic Cache, Airflow to name a few
  Understanding of version control systems and experience usingGitlab/Github

  
  

• Understanding ofDevelopment OperationsandSoftware Development Lifecycle

  
  

• Understanding of ticketing systemslikeServiceNow

  
  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details

  
  

Location & Hours of Work

• Full-time position, working40 hoursper week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate

  
  

• Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
