Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Wireless, ISE, Ansible

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the INFRASTRUCTURE PLATFORMS team, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.

Job responsibilities

• Implements ISE architecture, MAB and 802.1x Authentication flow, Guest network architecture and its trouble shooting.
• Designs and implements DNAC , Cisco PRIME and its usage for daily operation and design.
• Configures 5508,5520 & 9800 WLC's access points, SSL certificate handling , renewal and understanding of certificate chain process
• Automates manual TOIL and repeatable manual task using Ansible  & Python. 
• Manages various projects to completion through scrum calls. These are primary Wireless implementation projects and Software application deployments.
• Interacts with global engineering, implementation and support teams, other product team, PM, Clients , legal, risk and compliance team during project turnover to ensure adherence to standards compliance.
• Serves as tier4 escalation support and proactively identify and provide solutions for operational efficiencies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Professional experience working in large scale of enterprise network environments. Installation and configuration of Wireless controllers Cisco 5508/5520/9800), Access points, Routers, Ethernet switches, Firewalls, Internet appliances, business applications.
• Strong knowledge of ISE (identity service engine) and its design and implementation. Proficiency in at least one programming languages such as Java, Shell, Ansible, Python, Perl with a strong base in object-oriented design and development.
• Understanding of Agile methodology would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Ability to develop complex network designs based on reference architecture and existing standards is required, as well as the ability to develop new standards
• Experience in developing lab test solutions and performing testing in remote lab facilities for implementation best practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• A detailed understanding that includes TCP/IP routing protocols, MPLS, NAT, BGP4, OSPF, DNS, firewall policies, geo-load balancing, proxy and cache Servers, VPN technologies, layer 4-7 switching, Security, QoS, IP Telephony, WiFi, Cellular, Network Management and Monitoring Software
• Proven ability to research, develop, implement and streamlining processes/procedures for executing data network projects on a global scale consisting of over 10,000+ devices
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to perform packet-level analysis Excellent verbal, written and communication skills required
• CCNP or CCDP Certification or equivalent experience, CCIE a plus
