Job Description

• Must have: Proven experience in leading end-to-end Supplier Change and Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects, collaborating with global teams to ensure successful execution, qualification, and implementation.
• As MechanicalEngineerIII you willlead, design and qualify products which are globally manufactured and help to reduce the cost, drive design standardization across sites.
• Drive product cost analysis, benchmarking, Value analysis & valueengineering independently.
• PerformVAVEstudy and identify cost out opportunities which are quality neutral
• Strong design knowledge and exposure towards global qualification standards
• Ensures that assigned projects are delivered timely, to specification, and at or below targeted cost through solidengineering plans, including quality, cost, schedule, and risk assessment.
• Approaches problems in a rational manner and with outstanding tools to ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
• Helps team to grow technical depth and build proficiency across product lines.
• Promotes an environment of learning, coordinates technical training, addresses and fills technical gaps, and helps to buildup technical pipeline.
• Efficiently collaborates with sourcing, operations, quality, service and global R&D team, as well as external suppliers, vendors and customers.

Skills and Proficiencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanicalengineering
• VAVE certified & PMP certified (Good to have)
• 8+ years overall experience with Having strong record of driving strategic Cost out /VAVEdeliveries. Experience in productVAVEproject execution.
• Proficient in Product Cost analysis, Teardown, Competitive benchmarking, Value Analysis and ValueEngineering.
• Handled End-to-End cost out/VAVEprojects (Scoping to Implementation).
• Awareness of regulatory requirements, certification, andengineering standards
• Excellent interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders.
