As a Network System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing in Fortinet next generation firewalls (NGFWs), network detection & response (NDR) and web application firewalls (WAF). 

• Configure, maintain, and manage firewall hardware and software to ensure network security.  
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.  
• Implement necessary rule changes, updates, and upgrades.  
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and potential threats.  
• Optimize and maintain firewall security policies and procedures, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.  
• Provide high-level troubleshooting support for firewall-related issues, including connectivity problems, performance tuning and security breaches.  
• Ensure that agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being met.  
• Work with vendor support engineers on escalation and ticket resolution along with root cause analysis (RCA).  
• Work closely with customer to ensure a secure network environment, providing expert advice on network security issues. Keep customer updated with network security status and on-going issues.  
• Ensure network documentation is kept up to date including LLD, HLD, network topology, configurations, and inventory.  
• Identify discrepancies and suggest solutions to customers to improve network security and performance.
