We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize our database systems. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring database availability, performance, backup, recovery, and data integrity across production and non-production environments.

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
  
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage.
  
• Ensure database availability, reliability, security, and scalability.
  
• Perform database backups, restores, disaster recovery planning, and replication.
  
• Manage user access, permissions, roles, and database security policies.
  
• Troubleshoot database issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.
  
• Maintain database documentation, standards, and procedures.
  
• Support application teams with database design, schema changes, and performance tuning.
  
• Implement data migration, patching, upgrades, and version management.
  
• Ensure compliance with data protection, audit, and security requirements.
  

• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  
• Experience with SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
  
• Understanding of backup, recovery, replication, clustering, and high availability.
  
• Knowledge of database security and access control.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting database issues.
  
• Basic understanding of cloud databases such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL is a plus.
  
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  
• 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
  
• Relevant certifications such as Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS Database, or Azure Database are a plus.
