10 years of professional experience in Enterprise Applications design and implementation.
The role is coaching and working with engineers and development team(s) to Design, Develop, Deploy, Test and Support
enterprise solutions for corporate applications, portals and business services based on business needs.
• Software Development Life-Cycle and Agile methodologies like MSF, Sprints, Scrum, ...etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development
techniques and theories.
• Experience with source control management.
• UML and Modelling concepts and tools.
• Business Process development and re-engineering
• Development Best Practices and Design Patterns.
• SQL database design, development and normalization.
• Object-oriented languages like but not limited to (C#, VB.NET, Java, C++ etc.)
• Web development; specialized in a wide range of client and server side scripting technologies like
ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Angular, Bootstrap, and JavaScript/jQuery, …etc.
• SharePoint Portals, InfoPath Forms and workflows (Nintex Workflows is a plus).
• Regulations and policies.
• Application security and performance profiling and optimization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Lead and participate in the design of software components, libraries and databases.
• Supervise the deployments, data migrations, hosting and post production support services and upgrades.
• Work closely with engineers and development team(s) to Develop, Implement and Code software solutions according to
specifications in partnership with analysts and architects.
• Provide technical consultancy for engineers and development team(s) and overseeing and audit their outputs.
• Support backend services including infrastructure configuration, deployment, replication and synchronization.
• Meet development standards by following production, productivity, quality, security and customer-service standards.
• Work closely with development team(s) to troubleshoot technical issues and provide second level support.
• Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of solutions.
• Test solutions in controlled, real situations before going live via unit testing and black box testing.
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the deliverables can be used easily, quickly and accurately.
• Writing detailed documentation, training materials and user manuals for the operation of the solution by end users and
operators.
• Preparing detailed Scope of Work, RFPs and evaluating proposals and responses.
