Bayt.com Supporting the Local Job Market at Gitex Saudi Arabia

Bayt.com, the region's leading online recruitment site, appears in Gitex again, this time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In October2000, Bayt.com was launched at Gitex Dubai, pledging to revolutionize recruitment in the Middle East. With it's sophisticated online products, it's young, tech-savvy team of professionals and strategic early move into Dubai Internet City (DIC), Bayt.com generated considerable excitement as a promising new member of the local IT community. The launch of Bayt.com coincided with the official opening of Dubai's much acclaimed "Internet City". It makes sense so, that now, less than2 years later, these2 leading players join forces to play a leading role in Gitex Saudi Arabia.

Gitex proved to be an ideal launching pad for the company, which returned to Gitex Dubai2001 last year not only as a DIC success story, but as the region's first choice in online recruitment and the leading business of it's kind in the Arab World.

Now, less than2 years on, Bayt.com continues to exceed expectations.
"Saudi Arabia is an extremely exciting and important market for us", says Dany Farha, Director of Sales and Operations at Bayt.com. "The caliber of clients in the Kingdom is exceptional and this has been a priority market for us since day one. In fact, we have seen such a high demand for our recruitment tools in the last year, that we have opened3 offices in Saudi Arabia to service our Saudi clients", he continues.

Since it's inception, Bayt has experienced success and popularity with its Saudi customers, both on the jobseeker and employer sides. To date, over40% of the4500 companies registered with Bayt are in Saudi Arabia, and a significant number of the jobseekers in its database are residing in the Kingdom. This does not take into account those located in other countries seeking employment there. Saudi Arabia remains one of the most sought-after destinations in the region and jobseekers registered on Bayt.com seeking employment in the Kingdom number well into the thousands.

The fact that the growth of both Internet users and the IT sector as a whole has been the largest in the Gulf has only fortified Bayt's position in the Saudi market. Now with offices in Khobar, Riyadh and, most recently Jeddah, the company is demonstrating its full commitment to supporting the Saudi job market.

"Bayt.com's functionality has been designed precisely to meet the needs of a job market such as Saudi Arabia's, where the criteria for employment are often extremely specific", said Rabea Ataya, CEO of Bayt.com. "Bayt.com enables our clients to rapidly perform highly accurate searches by up to19 different criteria. This kind of targeting ability is unmatched by any other employment tool in the Arab World", says Ataya.

Another distinguishing feature is that Bayt.com is able to offer these tools in Arabic and English simultaneously - a first for online recruitment in the region and indeed, in the world.

Bayt.com plans to utilize Gitex Saudi Arabia as an opportunity to both attract new corporate customers with it's fast, easy and cost effective recruitment functionality, as well as highlight a host of new tools that have been released since its last public exhibit.

Bayt will be exhibiting from April21st -25th as part of the Dubai Internet City (DIC) Pavilion, along with3 other DIC companies; Datafort, ComGuard, and ELC New Media.
