Charterhouse is working with a multi-national prestigious organisation which offers customized leadership development programs. Our client is looking to hire an Associate Director of Operations to join the team in Doha. This role will report to the COO and be the main point of contact regarding all matters related to departmental activity and regional operations.
About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join a globally renowned organisation to support the smooth operations and efficient management of shared services and program delivery across the organisation. The Associate Director of Operations will supervise and oversee the activity of shared services such as facilities and IT in addition to the program delivery department, interacting regularly with the global headquarters.
This role will require a holistic business approach in order to anticipate the needs of each department and recommend guidelines which streamline operations whilst upholding the highest standards for program design and delivery. In addition, ongoing priorities will include budget management, providing guidance on cost optimization strategies and conducting regular reviews of performance in order to adhere to internal standards and institutional policies. Our client is looking to hire an individual who possesses excellent project management capabilities, strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving in high pressure situations.
About you
The successful candidate should ideally hold a Master’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in a project management or leadership role within operations. Our client has a strong preference for experience within the higher education or corporate training industry, whilst GCC exposure is highly desirable. Strong preference will be given to candidates which are fully bilingual in English and French.
