ELECTROMECHANICAL Technician

A dynamic role in the multi-dimensional world of Technology Development, Innovation and Agility in R&D whose function is concerned with the technical processes, methods, and tasks of a project at the development level, carrying solution architecture viewpoint forward into the software and hardware specialties, as per stakeholders requirements.

The primary point of communication to interlink between the Engineering Manager and the solution architecture crew to simplify the accomplishment of a successful system. Establishing the analytical effort necessary to transform an operational need into a description of an autonomous system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic (Describes long term tasks to deliver organizational expectations)

• Support the execution of Solution Architecture and Systems Development strategic plan to develop state-of-the-art system for clients specific requirements
• Seamless interface and integration of technology development activities with other departments to ensure synergy in product development at a quality of highest standard
• Embrace a culture of continuous improvement with approaches that leverage strategic cooperation and economies of scale for added value to products and services
• Contribute to driving enterprise long-term success by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with proximate stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project - i.e., technology partners, colleagues, etc.

Tactical (Refers to specific tasks or actions to be undertaken to accomplish a strategy)

• Provide recommendations in regards to assembly worknasgip and drawings
• Perform repair and assembly activities on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, etc.
• Develop, if necessary, the required tools and equipment
• Operate machining tool sets like Lathe, Milling, CNC, 3D printers, etc.
• Work and maintain MED-related tasks on equipment and building
• Develop HW for electronic and electrical subsystems
• Create and maintain technical design drawings (CAD, etc.)

• Maintain harmonious relationships with peers and others in a diverse environment because projects require input from individuals in different roles
• Support team decisions and follow through with team responsibilities.
• Coordinate with group of technocrats, intensifying teamwork and communication to deal with project constraints, i.e., technology, risks, cost, scope, quality, time and resources
• Promote a culture of diversity and inclusiveness that is conducive to effective relationships in a multi-cultural to complete challenging assignments. Accurately interpret and clearly communicate information, ideas and instructions with others.

KEY SKILLS:

• Academic Qualification - Certificate in Mechanical Technology
• Professional License - Professional license in relevant field of Engineering
• Additional Certifications - Certifications related to the role is a plus
• Work Experience - 3+ years relevant experience in operating electromechanical machine (Lift, Automated systems, Car repair, etc.
  Technical Competencies -

• Mechanical/electrical installations
  Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
  Expertise on circuits
  Testing, operating and maintaining Unmanned Vehicles
  Operate, test, maintain or adjust unmanned, automated, servomechanical or electromechanical equipment
  Manual dexterity (all kinds of mechanical tools),
  Computer design software such as Solidworks, Visio or equivalent is a plus
  Read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams
  Written and spoken English language
  Written and spoken Arabic language is a plus
