The Facility Manager (FM), in cooperation with all occupants and users of a facility, is responsible for the care, custody, and protection of the assigned real property for assigned government facilities as listed in the performance work statement. The FM shall follow the guidance of the Air Force Facility Manager Training and Handbook in completion of services. The Facility Manager will work closely with other FMs, Maintenance Technicians and Production Control Technicians to ensure mission success.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:


  • The FM is responsible for the care, custody and protection of the real property facilities assigned and the real property installed equipment therein and is responsible for meeting work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control.
  • Maintains policies and procedures, review and evaluate current maintenance program performance.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate personnel and activities concerned with the operation, repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds to minimize interruption and improve efficiency.
  • Facility services will be provided with constant in-person coverage on a 24/7/365 basis.
  • Responsible for facility data cards, briefing occupants on building cleanliness standards, conservation practices, and how to take preventative/corrective measures to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  • Inspects facilities for safety, security, and maintenance problems; makes recommendations on replacement versus repair, necessity of upgrading facilities and cost of such equipment and supplies; identify and eliminate safety hazards; assist with the regulation of medical waste and hazardous material disposal.
  • Enters work orders and works closely with production control clerks to track work orders and inspections using the CE NexGen IT (Tririga) program.
  • Will attend regular meetings with base organizations and make presentations when requested.
  • Will participate in real property inventories and is responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor property provided for contractor use (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment, and tools).
  • Responsible for enforcing and maintaining the safety program in compliance with OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
  • Provide proactive space optimization and utilization management.
  • Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
  • Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

Other requirements:


  • Work will be primarily indoors but may be outdoors to support various events.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.
  • Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
  • Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
  • Task specific work environment training will be provided as required.
  • Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U. S. interests.
  • 100% Overseas Assignment.

Qualifications

Mimimum Qualifications:


Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.


  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and able to drive with a manual transmission.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
  • Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training.
  • Training includes the successful fit testing of DOD provided protective gear.

Experience:


  • A minimum of five years’ experience with building management and/or maintenance.
  • Must have working knowledge of the CE NexGen IT (Tririga) program.
  • Must have experience with supervising and training staff. Management experience to include: supervision of employees, completed required reports, and dealing professionally with the customer.
  • Full knowledge of facilities management industry practices such as Department of Defense Joint Commission standards, Life Safety, Environment of Care, privacy, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
