About the job Instrumentation Technician
- Technicians degree especially in production and / or maintenance field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as Instrumentation Technician in a maintenance or production environment.
- Proficiency in performing Technician assignments and responsibilities, as well as tasks and testing techniques related to operations.
- Assist the maintenance activities under the guidance of the Instrument Engineer to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition and the implementation of safety procedures & policies, production reliability & efficiency.
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and simple mechanical problems on plant facilities and production equipment.
- Perform work on small voltage switchgear and preventative maintenance per a defined schedule in a timely manner and documents concerns and resolutions in a database.
- Organize planned maintenance of equipment and systems as per job plans and suppliers manuals.
- Organize, supervise and control subcontracted work, determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities.
- Conduct or arrange for workers to obtain training in safety and maintenance procedures.
- Perform advanced trouble shooting of equipment or systems not performing as expected.
- Monitor predictive and other maintenance indicators and compile and record maintenance data and tests/inspections/calibrations results.
- Repair and or replace defective parts, reassemble overhauled equipment and carries out necessary tests and performance monitoring upon start-up and monitor spare parts accordingly.
