Job description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Piping Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and technical support of piping systems using fiberglass composite materials. You will collaborate closely with project, production, and quality teams to deliver compliant and optimized piping solutions for our clients.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping engineering within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with piping stress analysis and support design
  • Familiarity with fiberglass composite piping systems (GRP/GRV/GRE) is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, or equivalent 3D piping design software
  • Working knowledge of ASME, ISO, API, and ASTM piping standards and codes


Skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review piping layouts, routing, and isometric drawings in accordance with project specifications and international standards
  • Perform piping stress analysis and flexibility calculations using industry-recognized software (e.g., CAESAR II or equivalent)
  • Prepare and review piping engineering deliverables including line lists, material take-offs, support schedules, and specifications
  • Provide technical support and guidance on GRP, GRV, and GRE pipe system selection and design
  • Ensure all piping designs comply with applicable codes such as ASME B31.3, ISO 14692, and client requirements
  • Review and respond to vendor documentation, technical queries, and non-conformance reports
  • Support project execution from design through installation, commissioning, and handover
