We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our project team in Qatar - Ras Laffan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, monitoring, and controlling project schedules while providing accurate progress reporting, schedule analysis, and forecasting for large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance.
Prepare progress reports, delay analysis, and recovery plans.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of activities.
Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Support project management with planning, resource allocation, and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual obligations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders regarding planning and scheduling matters.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–12 years of planning and scheduling experience in large-scale building construction projects.
Proven experience in residential, accommodation, mixed-use, institutional, or similar developments.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (Advanced Level).
Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering projects of comparable scale and complexity.
Previous experience in Qatar is preferred; GCC experience will also be considered.
MMUP/UPDA registration is preferred for candidates currently in Qatar and mandatory where applicable.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, and scheduling principles.
Familiarity with Qatar Energy requirements, major clients, consultants, and local authority regulations is an advantage.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
