Job Description
OverviewThis position performs plumbing preventive and corrective maintenance jobs. Responds to emergencies and perform other tasks assigned.
Responsibilities- Preventive Maintenance
- Service Orders
- Nonvalue added work (Shop clean-up, Inventory of tools)
- Performs other duties and assignments as required
Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Experience:
- Technical school diploma is required or equivalent. May be substituted by documented OJT program showing training received and certifying completion.
- Minimum of 3 years experience of pipe fitting and plumbing repair.
- Two years related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Program Specific Requirements:
- Extensive Plumbing Maintenance Experience. (3 Years)
- Strong knowledge of welding.
- Must be able to read and understand plumbing layout drawings.
- Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to Facility Maintenance.
- Able to communicate clearly in English with U.S. customer.
