We are seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs and preferences. Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their individual requirements. Assist customers in finding the right products by demonstrating features and benefits. Effectively communicate promotions, sales, and special events to customers. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives. Continuously seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in a sports or athletic environment. Strong passion for sports and an understanding of various athletic activities. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of sports equipment, apparel, and accessories is a plus.
