Role Purpose:


Provide technical leadership on all environmental projects. Actively participate in client relationship management, development of proposals, reports and technical analysis. Show leadership in achieving on time and on budget project completion as well as mentoring and developing other team members.



Critical relationships


The role reports to the Business Group Leader, to provide technical leadership across the group. The role will also be responsible in maintaining key client relationships, secure project opportunities and deliver successful project outcomes leading to repeat work.



Responsibilities:
  1. Clients
  • Collaborate closely with clients to drive the achievement of successful project outcomes, fostering long term partnerships and generating opportunities for repeat work.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing technical solutions that align with their objectives. 
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's technical expertise and services.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with existing internal and external clients.
  • Promote and build relationships with existing and potential/new clients with the aim of increasing business by improving client relationships and strengthening repeat business.
  • Responsible for the technically and commercially sound delivery of projects and promote client satisfaction.
  1. People
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among team members.
  • Take an active role in the development of team’s technical capabilities Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members on their technical capabilities in a timely and effective manner, fostering their professional growth and proficiency.
  • Actively participate in Environmental service line initiatives.
  1. Performance
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to the team members within the group. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices to drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.
  • Provide technical leadership and provide innovative and robust solutions based on individual field of expertise and experience to clients.
  • Prepare winning proposals.
  • Manage projects and risks in compliance with GHD policies and guidelines. 
  • Produce and review technical reports.

Qualifications / Skills
  • Strong technical capability across all environmental projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry guidelines and current industry practices.
  • Established industry profile through participation in professional associations.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.

  • Client satisfaction >4.5/5 
  • Adherence to GHD winning work and project delivery procedures to achieve Enterprise Project Delivery and Quality KPIs
  • Contributing to the work winning pipeline by achieving a minimum revenue target of QAR 2M with existing or new clients.
  • Utilisation target 80%
