They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Role Description:We are seeking a Safety Advisor to join our partners Loss Prevention organization (LP), which is the corporate safety organization within our partners. We provide both day-to-day in-field occupational and process safety support to our partners operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function. Our field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to all our partners facilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom. Your primary role as a Safety Advisor (Loss Prevention Advisor) is to provide daily support to company facilities and departments, helping them effectively implement our partners Safety Management System expectations and associated programs, as well as assuring compliance to all company safety requirements. Responsibilities:As the successful candidate, you will have the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to:Facilitate implementation of our partners Safety Management System, as well as its objectives and expectations, including developing associated safety processes, and participating in self-assessments. Conduct field inspections/reviews to assess compliance to company and international codes and standards, identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost-effective corrective actions. Identify, evaluate, recommend actions, and follow up on critical, yet universal safety tasks and control methodologies related to operational safety practices (e.g., work at height, isolation/LOTO, permit to work, hydrogen sulfide, confined space entry, excavations). Participate in safety studies/activities using risk assessment and mitigation methodologies, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys. Respond to emergency situations and incidents, either during or after regular working hours, to provide technical assistance and advice. Participate in worksite contractor safety management activities (e.g., contractor selection and prequalification, monitoring of work site compliance, and measurement of performance). Support the reporting, classification and investigation of all incidents, and participating in incident investigations, determination of root causes, and proper recommendations to prevent recurrence. Deliver Loss Prevention-specific training to employees, contractors, and outside parties. Mentor other Loss Prevention personnel. Requirements:As the successful candidate, you will either:Hold a BA/BS degree from an Accredited Institution, and seven years of experience areas in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related industries, such as: operations and maintenance, plant engineering, construction, turnaround and inspection, safety program development, process safety, and audits/assessments. Have fifteen years of relevant industry experience in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related industries, including a strong track record in delivering results, as referenced above, without a degree.
