  1. Program Planning and Objective Setting
  • Lead the identification and definition of program and project objectives, success criteria, and acceptance measures.
  • Develop comprehensive execution plans to achieve defined objectives, deliverables, and expected business outcomes.
  • Ensure project and program plans are aligned with organizational goals, stakeholder expectations, and approved priorities.

  1. Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Prepare program and project budgets based on approved scope, resources, and delivery requirements.
  • Track program and project costs to ensure proper budget coverage and financial control.
  • Monitor budget utilization, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to support cost efficiency.

  1. Program Delivery and Execution Control
  • Lead assigned program and project delivery activities to ensure execution within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Utilize project management methodologies, tools, and governance practices to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across workstreams to ensure progress, alignment, and timely completion.

  1. Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact program or project delivery.
  • Resolve or escalate issues and roadblocks to ensure continuity and successful delivery
  • Conduct program assessments, including risk analysis, resource allocation review, and timeline validation. Act as a coordination point between business and technical teams to facilitate smooth collaboration.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, project teams, and relevant business owners.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Communicate project updates, progress, risks, and decisions clearly to relevant stakeholders and governance forums.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS




Academic and professional qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in project management or program management is preferred.

Years and Nature of Experience



  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in project management, program management, project delivery, service delivery, or a related industry.
  • Experience in leading complex projects or programs, managing budgets, controlling delivery performance, coordinating stakeholders, managing risks and issues, and preparing executive-level reports.
