Backup Infrastructure Manager

DS DeepSource GmbH is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backup Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage our partner's backup infrastructure. As the Backup Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backup and recovery solutions to ensure the protection and availability of critical data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies and solutions to meet business requirements.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the backup infrastructure, including backup policies, schedules, and monitoring.
• Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of backup data.
• Evaluate and select backup technologies and tools to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data retention policies and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor backup system performance and conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any issues or failures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for backup and recovery systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and engage with them to resolve any technical issues or to explore new backup technologies.
• Maintain backup system documentation and update it as necessary.
