We are looking for an experienced Civil Materials Engineer to join the Civil & Structural Engineering Division of the Consulting Services Department (CSD) based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The Civil & Structural Engineering Division is responsible for providing technical support on issues related to civil, structural and geotechnical engineering for both onshore and offshore facilities to projects and operating plants, and maintaining Company Engineering Standards.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Perform review of engineering design packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projects
Develop and interpret code and standard requirements for concrete and civil designs
Participate in Engineering Standard development and reviews
Conduct vendor technical assessments for manufacturers of concrete, asphalt, precast concrete and cement mortar lining and similar commodities
Conduct technical/structural inspections and assessments of existing structures.
Conduct condition assessment of existing concrete structures, infrastructure and assets.
Conduct condition assessment and failure evaluation of asphalt pavements for roads, parking and airfields.
Develop and review plans and/or scope of work for repair or rehabilitation of concrete and civil structures.
Develop and review hydrology and Storm water management plans and specifications.
Support ongoing Innovation/Technology programs and strategic initiatives
Assess new and emerging technologies for civil/structural applications
Act as a professional mentor to developing structural engineers and specialists
