Civil/Structural & Architectural Designer

EDUCATION: Associate or secondary diploma in Civil/Structural engineering-related field.
EXPERIENCE: min. 3 to 7 years including minimum 1 year in design using 3D model. Candidates with prior Saudi Aramco/GES+ Company experience and Saudi nationality will be preferred.

EXPERIENCE PROFILE:
•   Has worked in design of Oil&Gas projects, Refinery and Chemical Plants and has good engineering design experience on small and medium projects both in Upstream and Downstream for the preparation of dwgs for Civil Works, Concrete Works and Foundations, Steel Structures and platforms;
•   Has some experience in industrial buildings for architectural and structural dwgs preparation.
•   Familiar with Plot Plans dwgs, Foundation Plan dwgs, Underground Utility network dwgs;
•   Experience in the following engineering tools: MicroStation, AutoCAD, SP3D, Navisworks, Revit, Raster interfaces, etc. Some experience in PDS and TEKLA modelling is also preferred.
•    Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Standards and AutoSACS is mandatory
•   Familiar with IFR & IFC design deliverables, and 3D model of concrete and structural steel elements with SP3D.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Supporting design and procurement activities with preparation of 2D digs and 3D deliverables, and preparation of Material Take Offs from digs
•   Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule dwgs for reinforced concrete elements
•   Review of as-built drawings and assisting in collection of the design information required from other engineering disciplines as inputs to produce Civil & Structural item digs
•   Extraction of Isos including PID number, line conditions, pipe diameter, elevations, interfaces with above ground, accessories, North direction, reference Civil Work Installation drawing.
•   Checking & compliance of produced drawings against Client's requirements and standards.
•   Capable of performing tasks in respect of Quality & time-schedule as required
•   Capable to work with small support from seniors/supervisors.
