Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Co Founder - Wealth Tech

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Co-Founder to lead our exciting new venture in the field of wealth management. As the COO, you will be responsible for ruthless execution of the company’s vision and roadmap. You will also be overseeing compliance and technology, ensuring optimal efficiency within the business. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership, a deep understanding of wealth management, and a track record of execution in a startup environment.
As the COO and Co-Founder of our company, you will play a key role in driving our success by the following responsibilities:
Operational Strategy:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the platform's growth objectives and enhance the efficiency of fund operations.
- Drive the integration of wealth tech solutions to optimize fund administration processes.
Experience working with multi-asset strategies/funds
- Wealth Tech Integration:
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement and optimize wealth tech solutions for seamless fund operations.
- Ensure the integration of digital tools for portfolio management, reporting, and client services.
High Net Worth Client Services:
- Work closely with Client Services teams to ensure that operational processes meet the unique needs and expectations of high net worth clients.
- Implement client-centric operational policies and procedures to enhance overall service quality.
Fund Administration and Compliance:
- Oversee all aspects of fund administration, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that fund operations adhere to relevant regulatory standards.
Risk Management:
- Implement robust risk management protocols within fund operations, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure the security and integrity of client assets.
- Monitor and assess operational risks regularly, implementing measures to safeguard the platform and its clients.
Process Optimization:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize fund operations, implementing best practices and leveraging technology for increased efficiency.
- Conduct regular reviews of operational processes to identify areas for enhancement and innovation.
Qualifications:
Must-Have Requirements and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role within the fintech or wealth tech industry.
- Background in fund operations, with a focus on high net worth individuals and private wealth management.
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape in Saudi Arabia pertaining to fintech and wealth management
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Relevant certifications in operations management
- Working experience in KSA or GCC
It would be awesome, if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Previous work experience in a startup
- Approval from the Saudi Arabian Capital Market Authority (CMA) for senior executive roles
- Experience in digital wealth management or wealthtech
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- You are currently a resident in KSA
