Business Unit Overview
You will be working within the Finance Transformation team, which provides advisory services focused on the CFO agenda. The team works across a broad range of industries and delivers projects throughout the Middle East region. The work we typically undertake includes:
- Finance operating model and finance transformationCorporate planning, financial planning, budgeting and reportingCorporate treasuryPublic Financial Management, including Treasury Single Account, GFMIS and Cash to Accrual conversionEffective financial control, reporting and consolidation
- Shared services finance and transactional efficiencies
- Costing and cost reduction opportunities

Responsibilities:
In your role as a Manager with a focus on ESG Reporting Technology Enablement, you will lead the charge in integrating cutting-edge technologies to streamline and elevate ESG reporting processes for our clients. This role is pivotal in enabling technology-driven solutions for ESG reporting, enhancing our clients' ability to report with transparency and impact. Your responsibilities include:
- Spearheading the adoption and optimization of ESG reporting technologies, ensuring tools such as Workiva, Sphera, SAP, Oracle or others are leveraged effectively to meet client-specific requirements.Guiding teams in the technical aspects of ESG reporting, from system selection to implementation and improvement, ensuring a seamless integration into clients' existing reporting frameworks.Lead ESG Reporting Technology Enablement projects from planning to delivery, produce technical deliverables, manage client relationships, manage budgets, and manage other more junior team members.Advise clients on data management strategies, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection for ESG reporting.Stay on top of industry trends and latest developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting ESG reporting.Acting as a key advisor on technology-driven ESG solutions, influencing strategic decision-making and operational excellence.Work closely with clients to integrate ESG reporting into their overall finance and accounting systems, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.Play a role in advising clients on strategic finance-related matters and designing solutions that can help address complex finance related challenges, achieve sustainable results and demonstrate real impact.Collaborating across teams and service lines to promote innovation in ESG reporting, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement.
Requirements:

- You possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or a Master's in Finance is a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certifications like CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, and CMA are highly beneficial in the context of the Finance Transformation team, but also other ESG certifications are beneficial in the context of the current role.
- Experience: At least 6 years in a relevant role, with a minimum of 5 years in consulting, focusing on finance transformation and ESG reporting.
- Sound knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, or SASB)
- Previous experience with ESG data management and reporting systems (e.g., Workiva, Sphera or other relevant) is required.
- Client Service: Strong client service mindset with the ability to build relationships in challenging environments.
- Sector Experience: Ideally with experience in at least 3 of the following sectors, including Transportation, Real Estate, Retail, Financial Services, Telecoms, Oil-Gas or Public Sector.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, confident, with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organisational skills and resilience under pressure are key.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (mandatory) and Arabic (desirable).
- Mobility: Willingness to travel across the Middle East as needed.
