Credit Manager - Hotel Industry

As a Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the creditworthiness and financial risk of the hotel's customers and ensuring timely payment of invoices.

• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing of invoices to customers.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
• Review and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action.
• Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with customers who are facing financial difficulties.
• Work closely with the sales team to review credit terms for new customers and evaluate credit limits for existing customers.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as reservations and front office, to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Implement and enforce credit policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reports and updates on the status of accounts receivable and credit-related metrics to management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in credit regulations.
• Manage a team of credit analysts or assistants, if applicable.
