About the job DD BACKUP ADMINISTRATOR
- Configure basic settings, CIFS shares and NFS mounts
- EMC/3rd party backup solutions integration with Data Domain (DDBoost/CIFS)
- Configure data access rights and permissions
- Analyze and project capacity utilization
- Manage and optimize cleaning, sanitize data
- Verify steady state operation
- Configure replication
- Monitoring File System Space Usage
- Monitor system and use auto supports, logs, and alerts
- Periodical reporting for backup media consumptions.
- Periodical reporting about backup time durations.
- Periodical reporting about current backup dates.
- Configuring DD Boost devices over IP and FC
- Configuring various Database Backups using NMDA and SQL backups using NMSQL and NMM modules
