Oversees the definition and implementation of technologies that enable the governance, acquisition, standardization and analysis of data which includes KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) -wide operational reports, dashboards and analytics, and information and data governance. Acts as a leader and a champion for data accessibility for both clinical and research needs at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.).
1.Oversees deployment and evolution of BI governance at the different governance model levels (strategic, tactical, and operational) and others as needed.
2.Participates in service design and provides input in all Data and Analytics related components, as required.
3.Plays a vital role in change management for all Data & Analytics related components.
4.Collaborates with KFSH&RC IT governance committees and business owners to develop and maintain optimal BI methodologies and tools in accordance with technology and data reference architecture.
5.Collaborates with the Informatics Officers who will be gathering the data and analytics requirements. Implements and executes projects that are evolved from the collected requirements to provide timely information and reports that meet their collective and individual needs.
6.Works with the Deputy CIO to handle operational services like creating, backing up, deleting data, as per policies.
7.Sets strategic direction for BI technology and maintains providing input to the Enterprise Architecture Office.
8.Responsible for BI operations including the data sourcing methodology, resource management, and performance monitoring for data acquisition, information delivery and customer service.
9.Responsible for customer reporting requests and customer support.
10.Identifies areas of redundancy and discrepancies within KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) information management and delivery, including streamlining of data delivery to external parties such as regulatory agencies.
11.Oversees the underlying technology, tools, and processes necessary for data-warehousing, data integration, and data analysis.
12.Supports and follows information governance and data standardization procedures established by the General Organization.
13.Manages the team that develops the Decision Support Systems and Executive Information Systems of the data warehouse.
14.Manages the engineering of the enterprise BI platforms and acts as second level support when unresolved by the Service Desk.
15.Follows all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
Ph.D., Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Health Informatics, Management Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Eight (8) Years of related experience with Ph.D. degree including at least Five (5) years in a related senior, supervisory or managerial position.
Twelve (12) Years of related experience with Master’s degree including at least Five (5) years in a related senior, supervisory or managerial position.
Fourteen (14) Years of related experience with Bachelor’s including at least Five (5) years in a related senior, supervisory or managerial position.
