Role Summary:



Raytheon Technologies is seeking a motivated and academically accomplished intern to join our equipment team at the MTSD located in Jeddah. This internship presents a unique opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of electrical engineering in a practical setting, working alongside our dedicated function partners and leadership team. The selected intern will play a pivotal role in providing electrical services, assisting in the development of innovative electronic solutions tailored to the diverse needs of our various functions, and analyzing existing processes to identify and implement opportunities for service efficiency improvement.

Your Responsibilities:



This internship is designed for Electrical Engineering students seeking to enhance their skills in a vibrant and challenging work environment. The role offers a unique blend of hands-on experience and self-directed learning, encouraging interns to take initiative and actively contribute to the team's goals and objectives . Responsibilities will span various aspects of electrical engineering and include, but are not limited to, the following:
Interns will work closely with internal and external customers to identify and understand their specific needs, ensuring that the solutions developed are tailored to meet these requirements effectively.
Leveraging their academic knowledge and creative thinking, interns will contribute to the design of innovative electrical systems and products, aiming to address the identified customer needs and enhance service efficiency.
Interns will be responsible for accurately reading and understanding design specifications and technical drawings. This skill is crucial for the successful development and implementation of electrical systems.
The role involves hands-on work with electrical equipment, including assembling, evaluating its performance, conducting tests to ensure reliability and safety, and performing routine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
Interns will diagnose issues with electrical equipment and perform necessary repairs, applying their problem-solving skills to restore functionality and prevent future malfunctions.
Interns will be expected to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics accurately. This capability is essential for constructing electrical systems that meet design specifications and customer expectations.
Compliance with local building and workshop regulations is a key responsibility. Interns must ensure that all work adheres to these standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:



Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate Electrical Engineering degree at a university. A strong academic foundation in electrical engineering principles and practices is required .
Student GPA should be (3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or 4.0 or higher on a 5.0 scale).
Applicants are required to provide an official letter from their university along with their CV. This letter should endorse the student's application and confirm their current enrollment status and academic standing.
Excellent collaboration skills are essential.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and oral) is mandatory.

Desired Skills:



Proficiency in understanding and working with electrical systems, including familiarity with their design, operation, and application in various contexts.
The ability to diagnose and resolve issues with electrical systems effectively.
Skills in designing and managing databases relevant to electrical engineering, such as component inventories, system specifications, or maintenance records.
The ability to analyze complex information or data sets to derive meaningful insights, support decision-making, and solve engineering problems.
Experience with CAD software for designing electrical systems and components.
