Role Summary:
Raytheon Technologies is seeking a motivated and academically accomplished intern to join our equipment team at the MTSD located in Jeddah. This internship presents a unique opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of electronics in a practical setting, working alongside our dedicated function partners and leadership team. The selected intern will play a pivotal role in providing electrical services, assisting in the development of innovative electronic solutions tailored to the diverse needs of our various functions, and analyzing existing processes to identify and implement opportunities for service efficiency improvement.
Your Responsibilities:
Designed for those with a keen interest in electronics, the internship encourages participants to take initiative and engage in self-directed learning within a supportive team setting. Responsibilities extend across a broad spectrum of activities, including the assembly, evaluation, testing, and maintenance of diverse electronic equipment. Interns will also tackle troubleshooting and repairs, utilizing their problem-solving skills to analyze and rectify malfunctions in electronic equipment. A critical aspect of the role involves reading and interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to construct and troubleshoot electronic systems accurately. Furthermore, ensuring adherence to local building regulations and standards is essential, guaranteeing all operations comply with safety and quality guidelines. This immersive experience not only aims to enhance technical skills but also to foster professional growth by providing interns with the opportunity to contribute significantly to various projects, all within the innovative environment of Raytheon Technologies.
Basic Qualifications and Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
Must be currently enrolled in a n Electronics Science diploma . Eligible institutions include Y anbu or Jubail Industrial Colleges.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale is required.
Applicants are required to provide an official letter from their college along with their CV. This letter should endorse the student's application and confirm their current enrollment status and academic standing.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding collaboration skills, showcasing the ability to work effectively across diverse organizations and teams.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and oral) is mandatory.
Desired Skills:
A strong understanding of electronic systems, including their design, operation, and application. Candidates should be familiar with the latest technologies and methodologies in the field of electronics.
Proficiency in installing circuitry and wiring, with a focus on precision and adherence to industry standards. This skill is crucial for the assembly and maintenance of electronic equipment.
The ability to quickly and effectively diagnose issues within electronic systems and implement solutions. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics is essential. This skill ensures accurate construction, modification, and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
