Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Field Technician to join our team in Al Ula, KSA. In this role, you will be responsible for independently conducting field surveys, collecting samples, and monitoring various parameters to assess compliance and, the environmental impact of construction or natural processes. This role will require a high level of flexibility and resilience, and you may need to support the project team with related tasks, such as report writing, analyse data, conduct training of contractors, or attend client meetings. You will be working from the project site and need to travel to different sites regularly.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct environmental monitoring and assessments by collecting air, water, soil, and biological samples using appropriate sampling techniques and equipment.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain monitoring equipment such as noise monitors, data loggers, weather stations, and water quality meters to track and monitor environmental parameters.
  • Follow protocols for sample collection, preservation, and transportation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Record field observations, measurements, and sample data accurately. Assist in data analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential environmental hazards, pollution sources, or ecological concerns.
  • Prepare detailed field reports including sample analysis results and observations.
  • Communicate effectively with client, Project manager and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resource management or other relevant area preferred
  • International or GCC driving license, comfortable operating 4WD on construction site.
  • 5 years experience in a similar role working in environmental or conservation-related roles.
  • Proficiency in using field monitoring equipment.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sampling methodologies.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advance report writing and presentation skills.
