Role Purpose:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Program Director to oversee a multi-billion dollar, multi-project real estate development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional project and program leadership, engaging with clients and stakeholders, demonstrating a robust commercial knowledge, and possessing a deep understanding of managing complex schemes from inception to completion.
What this job involves:
Program Leadership: Taking charge of a scheme that comprises multiple significant standalone projects. Planning and Structuring: Responsible for developing the program's strategic plan, leading its execution, and overseeing the delivery of this multi-billion dollar program. The projects encompass a range of sectors including infrastructure, public realm, hospitality, retail, residential, and lifestyle. Strategic Leadership: Establishing a strong connection between client objectives, business goals, and project requirements. Project Oversight: Managing the program from early design stages through to successful completion, while leading a diverse team at all levels. Taking overall responsibility for project delivery. Stakeholder Management: Demonstrating exceptional diplomacy skills in handling complex relationships with stakeholders and consultants. Core Values: Supporting and promoting core business values such as Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence. Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Leading by example and prioritizing the health, safety, and wellbeing of the team. Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively, ensuring the right individuals are placed in appropriate positions. Accountability and Ownership: Establishing a culture of accountability and project ownership within the program. Empowering project leads to deliver successful outcomes.
Desired skills and experience:
Education: An engineering degree is a must. Experience: 25+ years of relevant experience with previous work experience in the Middle East on major programs. Professional Memberships: Further professional memberships and/or chartered status are expected at this level. Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading large, multinational, and diverse program delivery teams. Project Leadership: Demonstrated skills in leading major projects with a strong understanding of business analysis. Planning and Communication: Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills.
