Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Field Safety Supervisor with a minimum of 10 years of experience infield safety management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the company's safety policies and procedures infield operations. This position requires a proactive approach to preventing accidents and ensuring compliance with all occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor field safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments infield operations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Lead safety training sessions and drills for field staff, ensuring all employees are aware of and adhere to safety policies.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, compiling reports and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate with management and other departments to integrate safety measures into daily operations and project planning.
- Stay updated on new legislation and advancements infield safety technology and practices, adjusting company policies accordingly.
- Manage the distribution and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective gear for field staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all field safety inquiries, issues, and emergencies.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in field safety supervision, preferably within [specific industry, e.g., construction, oil and gas, manufacturing].
- Comprehensive knowledge of OHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI).
- Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is highly desirable.
