 Job Description:

Our client is a well-established Food Manufacturing company with a diversified product portfolio. They are looking to hire a well experienced Finance Director to play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with organizational objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Department Management & Supervision:


  • Lead the Finance Department and manage day to day operations.
  • Oversee the preparation of all financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain continuous improvement to policies, procedures and processes.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance to quality and accuracy.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:


  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, and assess performance.
  • Present result for internal and external stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:


  • Lead the development of the annual operating budget and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances and deviations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve budget accuracy and operational efficiency.

4. Compliance & Adherence:


  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings.

Qualifications and Competencies:


  • Bachelors or higher education in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of Leadership Experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Food Industry, Accounting/Financial Services firms, or Multinational Companies is Preferred.
  • Professional Qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or CIMA is a Must.
  • Familiarity with Financial ERP Systems (SAP Financials).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Extensive knowledge in GAAP and IIFRS.
  • Arabic Speaker is Preferred, with English Fluency.
