Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems and procedures aligned with local regulations, international standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement HSE plans, risk assessments, and emergency response to support to project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with HSE requirements, standards, and best practices.
  • Coordinate HSE training and awareness programs for Staff to ensuring their understanding and adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Investigate accidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and contributing factors
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers in the implementation of effective HSE systems on their Projects sites.
  • Reviewing and approving Contractors HSE documents, submittals, drawings, etc to verify their suitability, adequacy and conformance.




Skills


  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems.
  • 10 or above years’ experience in Health, Safety, Environment and Security
  • Experience in managing all aspects of HSSE on projects or facilities.
  • Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System, Incident Investigation by using Tripod Beta Tool, HSE Auditing Techniques, HEMP, Radiological Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Gas Dispersion, Modelling, Explosion Indices and ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001
