Role Purpose:

As the Investment Director, you will identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities aligned with our company's strategic objectives. You will play a critical role in driving investment decisions, managing portfolios, and maximizing returns for our stakeholders. This position reports directly to the [Chief Investment Officer].

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's overall goals and risk appetite, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and portfolio diversification.
• Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including real estate, and alternative investments.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, analyzing financial statements, market trends, competitive landscapes, and other relevant factors to assess potential risks and opportunities.
• Financial Modeling: Create detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decision-making, including revenue projections, cash flow forecasts, and return on investment calculations.
• Negotiation and Structuring: Lead negotiations and deal structuring activities, collaborating with legal, finance, and other stakeholders to optimize terms and mitigate risks associated with investments.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage existing investment portfolios, tracking performance, conducting periodic reviews, and implementing strategies to enhance returns and mitigate risks.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with investment partners, fund managers, industry experts, and other stakeholders to source deals, access market intelligence, and leverage opportunities for collaboration.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, economic indicators, regulatory changes, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks that may impact investment strategies.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders, providing insights into portfolio performance, investment trends, and strategic initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the investment team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in execution.

Knowledge & Expereince:

• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and valuation techniques across different asset classes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, perform quantitative analysis, and make informed investment decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate investment theses, influence stakeholders, and build relationships effectively.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities to drive long-term value creation.
• Leadership experience, with demonstrated abilities in team management, talent development, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in financial sector/ investment
