Provides hotel guests and colleagues with first-line technical support.
Assembles and configures network components and associated services.
Installs and tests the necessary software and hardware.
Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
Installs, upgrades, and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software, and file services.
Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.
Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their access to network resources.
Checking daily backups, all system interfaces, server hardware and logs.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
Documenting, archiving all correspondence, troubleshooting, and following up on suppliers’ visits and maintenance.
Ensures technology assets are secured.
Assists in disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology.
Installs, monitors, and maintains telecommunications equipment, including cabling, and provides technical guidance as needed.
Performs adds/moves/changes/deletions.
Supports telephony infrastructure (IP PBX) and company mobile phones.
Troubleshoot high-speed Internet access problems.
Maintain an asset register for all IT assets.
Must be able to operate independently.
Requirements:
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
0–2 years of experience.
Flexibility in working hours: working on a rotating shift basis, Sunday to Thursday. Shift patterns will vary (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
