Job Description
1- Compile comprehensive list of
contracting Labour Standards and regulations, conducting a detailed review of
individual regulations as appropriate, particularly those related to
certifications, qualifications and capabilities of labour in the contracting sector
as well as Saudization requirements.
2- Manage the consultation process for amending Labour regulations and
standards and promote periodic review and reassessment of the regulations.3- Research international best practices and collaborate with international
entities to boost knowledge of standards and tailor them to KSA.4- Establish relations with global similar authorities to obtain
insights/best practices and for knowledge sharing.5- Propose amendments to existing Labour regulations and standards based on
market needs/international best practices, including proposing by activity type
and job occupation level realistic minimum Saudization requirement as well as
penalty schemes.6- Define list of key certifications and qualifications needed to upskill
labour quality and productivity in the Kingdom and review them regularly.7- Conduct meetings and coordinate closely with authorities to better
understand the impact of labour standards, regulations, qualifications and
certifications amendments on them.8- Define an implementation roadmap, detailing required activities for
implementing the amended regulations, standards, certifications and
qualifications whilst taking into account the current state.9- Coordinate closely with other governmental entities and potential
partners to ensure the effective implementation of new or amended labour
standards, regulations, qualifications and certifications.10- Work alongside concerned stakeholders at SCA to lobby relevant
government entities in the implementation of amended labour standards,
regulations, qualifications and certifications.Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital studies, Law, Engineering or equivalent (Master preferred), with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Prior experience of (6+ years) in a managerial or supervisory role.
