Leads and coordinates activities of the technical assistants and/or assists in specialty areas of the laboratory.
1. Monitors and resolves problems related to specimen procurement and activities of the technical assistants and/or assists in specialty of the laboratory, including but not limited to Parasitology, Cytogenetics, Microscopy and Blood Transfusion Service.
2. Receives daily schedules and assigns technical assistants to specific areas of the Hospital and clinics for specimen procurement.
3. Assists in training new technical assistants.
4. Oversees distribution of laboratory reports.
5. Inventories and requisitions of blood-collecting supplies.
6. Performs all duties of blood collecting, etc. as needed.
7. Comply with the section policies, procedures, and protocols. Follows the section quality improvement program in accordance with CBAHI, JCI, CAP, SFDA and other accreditation international agencies standards
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Laboratory Technology, or other related discipline is required.
Grade 07:
One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor's or two (2) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.
