We are partnering with our client, a well-established manufacturing company, to hire a Machinist Tech. As a Machinist Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of the machining department. You will be responsible for assisting Machinists in setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision parts and components. Your knowledge of machine operations, technical drawings, and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

• Assist Machinists in setting up machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Load and unload materials onto machines and ensure proper alignment
• Perform basic machine operations under the guidance of experienced Machinists
• Monitor machine operations and report any issues or malfunctions
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machining problems
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
