Mechanical Inspection Specialist (KSA)

As a Mechanical Inspection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical equipment in the Oil & Energy sector. Your in-depth knowledge and proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques and procedures will contribute to the success of our clients' projects and further enhance the reputation of Eram Talent.

• Perform meticulous inspections and assessments to evaluate the integrity and quality of mechanical equipment in various oil and energy projects.
• Conduct inspection and documentation of assets during Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) activities.
• Check the fit-up and cleanliness of weld joints prior to welding.
• Monitor welding processes, including checking electrodes and preheating requirements.
• Visually examine completed welds for surface defects.
• Schedule and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Hardness Testing (HT), and Positive Material Identification (PMI) for completed welds.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) processes.
• Maintain accurate Quality Control (QC) documentation including weld maps and tracking sheets.
• Prepare daily progress reports for the Inspection Coordinator, highlighting any issues related to quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Engineering documents (STD, Procedures, and Material Requirements) for all inspection activities, both internal and external.
• Collaborate with company's Inspection representatives to seek support for inspection activities, such as scaffold erection or insulation removal.
