Mechanical Technician

Seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime.
3. Repair and replace defective components, such as bearings, motors, belts, and valves.
4. Calibrate and adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance.
5. Operate a variety of hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
7. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in mechanical technology and techniques.

Preferred Candidate:

• 1-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.
• Technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
