In this role, You will be responsible for managing Partnerships Excellence Department activities, to ensure and deliver on the Department’s mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for
Contribute to the design and implementation of the Division’s strategy and roadmap by providing function-specific inputs
Establish and implement the Department’s operational plans in support of the Division’s overall strategic plan and KPIs
Prepare the Partnerships Development Department annual budget and participate in the Division’s budgeting cycle and process
Utilize and manage Partnerships Development Department’s budget effectively, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
Investigate and propose implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for STA and mitigate financial and operational risks
Act as the focal point of contact of the government department to receive the official documents and requests internally within STA
Align & support across all other units including developing presentations related to their tasks/ projects
Develop processes and templates for the other units within the government partnerships team
Manage all documentation and archiving of all files
Communicate and collaborate with the internal teams to ensure that key stakeholders needs are met
Supervise the teams assigned
Ensure the team is using the proper tools and templates
Oversee reports on the other units progress, goals, and KPIs
Ensure involvement of Partnership Development with the external stakeholders and monitor communication
Gain a deep understanding of the units work and their current interactions with stakeholder
Propose improvements to Partnerships Excellence Department’s policies, and ensure the implementation of procedures and controls across all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results
Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes considering leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Manage, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
Participate in identifying and recruiting key talent for Partnerships Excellence Department
Promote a high-performance working environment embracing STA’s values
act as the internal focal point of contact of the Gov Partnership department and develop policies and procedures for the function
Aid across the organization and support peers when needed to perform their duties
Approve reports and presentations related to Partnerships Excellence Department activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making
Perform other activities as and when required
·You will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or any related fields
Master is a plus
At least 8 years of experience in relevant fields
KPI Professional is required
PMP certificate is preferred
