About the job Primavera Specialist

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:


  • Project Scheduling:
  1. Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 software, incorporating project scope, milestones, resources, and dependencies.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  3. Analyze project requirements and constraints to create realistic and achievable project schedules that align with project goals and objectives.
Schedule Management:
  1. Monitor and update project schedules on an ongoing basis to track progress, identify deviations, and mitigate schedule risks.
  2. Conduct schedule analysis, including critical path analysis, resource loading, and earned value management, to optimize project performance.
  3. Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate schedule status, trends, and forecasts to project teams and stakeholders.
Resource Management:
  1. Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects based on project priorities, resource availability, and project dependencies.
  2. Coordinate with project managers and resource managers to resolve resource conflicts, shortages, and bottlenecks that may impact project schedules.
Risk Management:
  1. Identify schedule risks, constraints, and dependencies that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
  2. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to address schedule risks and ensure project delivery within established timelines.
Training and Support:
  1. Support in providing training, guidance, and support to project team members on the use of Primavera P6 software for project scheduling and management.
  2. Support on Primavera P6 functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting for project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:


  • Minimum of 5 + years of work experience.
  • Well-versed with Primavera PEEPM.
  • Oracle Primavera and functional background.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Construction or Engineering Document control/Data entry experience.
