The project: 


This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.


Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.


We are looking for an experienced operations director who has experience in large mixed-use developments. This phase of the work is at the very start of construction, and we are looking for a candidate who can support mobilisation alongside project delivery. This is an exciting opportunity and benefits from being a member of the delivery team from the very start.

You’ll need to have:


  • A degree qualification in a construction-related discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience in heavy civil engineering, ideally bulk earthworks and services. 
  • Extensive years of experience in an appropriate field in a senior leadership role.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Have led a team and supply chain as part of a large project/programme.
  • Has been a leader within an overarching project/programme delivery team.

You’ll also have:


  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.  
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Construction sector. 
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.  
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.  
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.  
  • Experience in managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.  
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
