Job Description:

You as a Project Execution Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be leading a team of Projects Managers and Engineers who play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects within our Power Quality organization. Supporting the organization in process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution.

Your responsibilities

• Leading a team of Project Managers and Engineers.
• Developing the competence of the organization to become a team of experts.
• Monitoring project progress, tracking key milestones, and reporting on project status to stakeholders using various tools and methodologies.
• Organizing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and risk logs, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to project team members.
• Managing resource allocation and capacity planning, ensuring that project teams have the necessary resources to meet project objectives.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the project management framework and collaborating with stakeholders to implement best practices.
• Facilitating communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring alignment on project objectives and priorities.
• Managing customer communication and managing claims.
• Ensuring that projects adhere to established quality standards and procedures, conducting regular audits and reviews as necessary.
• Identifying project risks and issues, assess their potential impact, and working with project managers and other functions to develop mitigation strategies.
• Providing guidance and training to project and engineering team members on project management and engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience required in the Electrical Energy sector.
• Proven experience in working in engineering or project management.
• Technical experience in power quality.
• Good people management skills.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, and SAP.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.
