Job Description

They are one of the leading Events’ solutions and production providers in GCC with more than 20 years of experience in the market and having ISO certifications for Events production and organization.


As aPurchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of goods and services necessary for all operations. Your responsibilities will span across strategic planning, supplier management, cost optimization, and process improvement.


Key Accountabilities

The position involves:


  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Manage daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, and other terms to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the supplier database and accurate purchase records.
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and lead times to prevent stock outs and excess inventory.
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints while meeting operational needs.
  • Ensure that purchased items meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and returns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance purchasing procedures.
  • Recommend changes to purchasing processes that would improve efficiency or reduce costs.
  • Streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management,Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as aPurchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role.
  • Previous Experience inEvent Managementor a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards related to procurement and quality management.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English.
