Supervision - Directs and coordinates the work of the replenishment, special order and data input teams including job assignment, training, performance evaluation and compensation review. Coaches team to ensure compliance with Company and Department goals and objectives. Recruits, hires, train, and supervise the highest quality Team Members. Inventory/Supply Chain Management - Manages & develops inventory forecasts and open-to-buy budgets. Monitors inventory status and ensures it is meeting company targets. Provides data and proposes solutions to limit unproductive inventory. Improves and further automates the replenishment system. Analysis - Owns and drives in-stock management metrics, key reports and advances their development. Manages order placement and order tracking metrics to optimize on-time shipping, fill rate, and lead time. Uses metrics to track and improve performance of replenishment and fulfillment processes. Integrates strong and clear analysis and business rational into sound decision making. Process Improvement - Defines and implements process improvements within the purchasing department. Participates on teams with other departments to create improvement in workflows that impact the replenishment, product flow, and in stock performance. Works with IT team to continue to automate key processes. Leads and provides support for various Purchasing department initiatives and projects as needed. Provides ad-hoc reporting on inventory management as necessary. Builds relationships with business partners and suppliers. Participates on company continuous improvement teams related to inventory management. Attends conferences and seminars as necessary. Assists Trainer to help Team Members understand inventory management (forecast). Performs other duties as needed. Should have knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling leadership technique, production methods, and coordinators of people and resources. Must possess a strong understanding of data. Must have a strong numerical aptitude. Must have strong strategic and tactical inventory management skills. Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate good decision-making skills and demonstrate accountability for own results. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and have strong process skills in time management and meeting deadlines. Must possess a proactive attitude. Able to collaborate with all levels of the organization, across multiple cross-functional groups, and with diverse personalities. Required to be proficient in Excel. Preferred proficient in Microsoft Visio and Crystal Reports. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to read and write English. The candidate must be a local

Education –



Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, IS, Purchasing Management or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience –



At least 3+ years progressive work experience in multiple areas of business – procurement or supply chain management, financial or business analysis, technology, contract management and asset management.
