Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Awareness of the Project Quality Plan and ensure the implementation of the quality documentation.


  • Conduct Site Quality Management System (QMS) induction and training to all members of Site Team.


  • Preparation and submission of periodic reports such as Monthly QAQC Report to Quality Manager on a timely basis


  • Ensure the implementation of the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and relevant forms.


  • Familiarization with the package dictionary and the associated technical documents, package scope of works, specifications, and issued for construction drawings of the project.


  • Ensure the expeditious processing and closing of raised nonconformities, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions Report. Registers shall be prepared for all site nonconformities and Corrective Actions for updating.


  • Identification of site quality deficiencies for immediate rectification and preparation of Site Deficiency Registers on a periodic basis for updating.


  • Ensure coordination with Procurement, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning teams for the management of site issues.


  • Manage the inspection of works, testing and quality control in coordination with the site team, subcontractors and various stakeholders.


  • Conduct  periodic quality training to subcontractor QC teams regarding quality control matters.


  • Assist in the preparation of Site Subcontractor internal audits of various work packages in order to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the subcontractor’s quality assurance plan and provide recommendation for improvement.


  • Ensure the proper maintenance and organized handover of site quality control documentation in compliance with the project contractual requirements.


  • Participate in the review and inspections related to third party laboratory for witnessing of client representative involving  subcontractor quality control activities.


  • Assist in the proper management of site quality documentation using Aconex PDMS such that project quality documents are always updated.


  • Attends and participates in project site coordination meetings and stays abreast with  quality requirements, issues/concerns, and scheduling.


  • Ensure the proper set-up site of QC binders by the subcontractors as per quality procedure.


  • Monitor the proper execution of site activities by various vendors relative to the ITPs.


  • Ensure the timely submission of quality forms notification and checklists by the subcontractors as per the requirements of the  ITP.


  • Monitor client inspection and testing together with Site Discipline Engineers.


  • Monitor the interface regarding the systems transfer from the construction team  to commissioning team.


  • Maintain quality control records.  At the end of vendors mandate, obtain vendors QC history books.


  • Review of vendor quality documents and deliverables such as Method Statements, ITP’s, Material Certificates, etc. as per the approved document control Reviewer Distribution Matrix.


  • Assist in the management of quality assurance (QA) documentation such as forms, work instructions, Quality SharePoint, KPI’s, Lessons Learned, etc.


  • Committed to Safe Work Practices, adherence to Safety requirements and Permit to Work System (PTW).


  • Participates in the implementation and maintenance of quality Control and assurance plans and programs.


  • Performs quality system audits and implements necessary action plans to correct or improve quality deficiencies.


  • Produces quality reports associated with work activities. Verifies completion and evaluates quality of work. Records findings. Produces and maintains accurate logs. Recommends corrective and preventive action.


Knowledge & Skills:


  • Team Player & Excellent construction site management skills.


  • Strong and effective coordinator with client, contractors & suppliers.


  • Organized, disciplined, able to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities and parallel tasks.


  • Report writing skills.


  • Experience of working in a multicultural project team.


  • Knowledge of computer software applications.


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Highly responsive to changing demands.


  • Forward thinking ability.


Education/Experience/ Certification:


  • A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience performing QAQC work at an advanced level.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).


  • Experience in EPC for District Cooling Plants is preferred.


  • Experience in MEP background, worked on industrial projects.


  • Pipeline experience is mandatory
