This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical project outcomes by strengthening risk visibility, supporting informed decision-making, and helping project teams navigate uncertainty across major civil engineering programs.
We are inviting expressions of interest for the position of a Risk Engineer, you will help embed effective risk management practices across project lifecycles, supporting leadership teams with the insight needed to manage delivery, schedule, and cost exposure.
You will work closely with project stakeholders to bring structure and clarity to risk-related decision-making, while contributing to the successful execution of complex infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities Establish the project Risk Management Plan and lead risk identification workshops with stakeholders.
Maintain the risk register and perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations.
Develop and monitor mitigation strategies across design, construction, and commissioning phases.
Analyze schedules and financial data to identify delivery and cost risks.
Support claims management through documentation of changes and delays.
Prepare heat maps and executive-level risk reporting for project leadership and clients.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
10 years of experience in risk engineering or closely related project risk roles, including work on infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulation, using tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @RISK, Safran Risk, or similar schedule-risk platforms.
Strong knowledge of project controls, project scheduling, cost management, and risk registers.
Currently based in Saudi Arabia.
